Congratulations to Matthew Anderson, a Sales Associate at BINDERS store in Charlotte, NC. Matthew is a winner in Golden Artists Colors “Mix More Media” contest, which drew hundreds of entries from art stores all around North America.Matthew’s entry was awarded Third Place in Golden’s “Most Compelling Aesthetic” store display category. As a winner, he will receive from Golden an Epson Stylus Photo NX200 All-in-One Ink Jet Printer.
A self-taught artist who works in acrylics, oils and mixed media, Matthew has been a Sales Associate with BINDERS for about two years.
For his prize-winning entry, Matthew started with his own acrylic painting, then printed a photo of the painting onto a series of transparent and opaque surfaces that he had created using Golden’s new line of Digital Mixed Media products.“He then combined these elements into an eye-catching store display that demonstrates the ways these new materials can increase the quality of your images and methods to use them in your art.“ says Anthony Ochoa, manager of our Charlotte store.
