We have a special learning opportunity to help you make a jump forward in your art making skills! Leap Ahead Color Theory Workshop with Denise Nogueiras will be held on Sat. Aug. 21 or Sun. Aug. 22, 10am-3pm. Explore the exiting and limitless world of color and leap ahead in your understanding of how color visually inspires, creates emotion and draws the eye to focal points. Using the watercolor medium, each student will create 2 color wheels by mixing primary colors to achieve secondary colors, tertiary colors, neutrals, tints, shades and tones. Color harmony and color schemes will be discussed as well as composition through color choice. Through a presentation of 6 artists, and their unique color palettes, and through each individual’s exploration of the myriad of color combinations and schemes, the student will begin to form preferences and begin a journey to create their own personal and unique color palette.
