Downtown Decatur struts its stuff while hosting 65,000 visitors this weekend for the 21st annual Decatur Arts Festival.
The two-day event on the Square in Decatur is always a blast with something for everyone, including a rich variety of exhibits, venues and markets to shop and enjoy.
You’ll also find a generous array of tasty foods and beverages to savor.
More than 140 artists will showcase their art work in the outdoor market beginning on Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm, and again on Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm.
Meanwhile, Decatur's community bandstand will stage performance by musicians, singers and dancers. And to round out your experience, don’t miss the Literary Arts venue, the Decatur Civic Chorus, a Kids & Teens Arts Festival and a silent auction.
At nearby Agnes Scott College’s Dalton Gallery, a fine arts exhibition features works from more than 30 artists. The exhibition will be open through June 1.
If you’re driving from Midtown Atlanta, you can’t miss Decatur if you take Ponce de Leon going east. You’ll know it when you get there.
